The Location

Cobholm Playing Fields is situated in the Cobholm area of Great Yarmouth (postcode NR31 0AY), and it’s easy to reach whether you’re travelling by car, public transport, or on foot. If you’re driving, enter NR31 0AY into your GPS or sat nav — Cobholm Playing Fields is just a short distance off the A47/A149 main roads, with street parking available nearby. If you’re coming by bus, several local services run through Great Yarmouth town centre towards Cobholm — the First Eastern Counties buses (e.g., routes 6, 7, 8) serve stops within walking distance. The nearest train station is Great Yarmouth Railway Station, around a 20-minute walk or quick taxi ride from the fields, making rail a great option for visitors from outside the area.

More than just a tournament

The Great Yarmouth Rugby Weekender is a celebration of rugby, music, and community spirit.

With traditional fundraising streams impacted, Great Yarmouth-Broadland RUFC has created an exciting new way to bring people together: a lively 10s rugby festival combined with live entertainment, great food, and plenty of beer.
